MIYAVI returns to the UK for his biggest London show since his 2011 WHAT’S MY NAME? tour. Dubbed the Samurai Guitarist, his unique slapping style without using a guitar pick has received attention from all over the world. Slap The World Tour 2014 will be his fourth world tour and follows the success of 3 previous global treks including over 200 shows in 30 countries across North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.

His new record MIYAVI due to be released in Europe in February next year. The majority of the record has been recorded and produced in London with award winning producer Dean Gillard. Two tracks Day1 and Cry Like This on the record have been produced by respected French electro DJ Yuksek with a further track Free World produced by the Swedish electronic group Necro Facility. In Japan where the record has been released ahead of the European schedule it went to Number 2 on the charts (Number 1 on the Rock Chart).

Recently MIYAVI has also landed the role of Mutsushiro Watanabe in the Universal Pictures film ‘Unbroken’ which will be directed by Angelina Jolie and is scheduled for release in December 2014.
